Today I saw in a foreign article that Apple’s battery level of 100% is considered a false standard. I did an experiment and confirmed that the “physical battery level” displayed by my AIDenate App is 95%. This is because Apple hopes that users can unplug it when they see 100%. The power cord is actually only 95% physically charged, with a 5% virtual mark.
The AIDenate app does not unplug the power cord, but will automatically start charging the battery when the battery level is less than 80%. If the battery level exceeds 80%, the charger will charge the Mac directly without charging the battery, so the number of cycles has remained unchanged so far. At 3, not a miracle! When I deliberately closed the app and let it charge to 95% before launching it again, the charger stopped charging and began to use the battery instead, which is “discharging” in order to return to the 80% limit line.
Among them, 5% between 75-80% is considered sailing mode.
AIDenate Pro is an app that really takes care of your battery. The free version can only have an 80% adjustable charging limit like iPhone 15/16 and iPad Mini 7.
The AIDenate official website has knowledge base information about the App’s functions and batteries. Check the official website for details!
